The heart of this project lies in the use of Portland Jordan 1200 x 1200mm (6mm) porcelain tiles, which were installed throughout the interior and exterior of the home.
By carrying the same material seamlessly from room to room and then out onto the outdoor spaces, the home achieves a beautifully cohesive look. The continuous surface creates an uncluttered visual flow and a contemporary aesthetic that enhances the sense of space.
A Games Room Beyond Expectation
The showpiece of the home is undoubtedly the extraordinary Games
room, offering an immersive entertainment space unlike anything typically seen in residential design. This area includes a full-size single-lane bowling alley, a dedicated billiard room, a large cinema studio, and a custom-designed bar area. Adding artistic character to the space is a striking hand-painted mural featuring African rhinos, creating a bold and memorable visual moment.
For the exterior, the homeowners applied their own specialised finish to ensure the tiles performed flawlessly in outdoor conditions, without compromising the refined appearance.
The result is an impressive blend of luxury, practicality, and continuity from the first step inside to the outermost edge of the property. This stunning home received national attention when it was featured in a full episode of My Aussie Build on 9Now in July 2025.
Behind the bar, MyTop supplied our Acidic Corten 1200 x 1200mm
porcelain panels as a dramatic splash back. The Corten finish delivers an industrial-inspired look with rich, weathered-metal tones that complement the room’s atmosphere. Its scale and texture make the entire bar wall a standout design feature, adding depth and personality to a room already filled with impressive elements.
